Community Subsidy Application
Conditions of the subsidy
- Community Programme Subsidised Rates: The subsidy only applies to bookings made by recognised youth development organisations or students of tertiary providers.
- Bookings must be made at least one month in advance.
- Session times must be off-peak and are subject to availability.
- Full payment is required to confirm the booking. There are no refunds for drop-outs or non-attendance on the day.
- The minimum number of applicants is required per session. If not, the group may combine with other groups to meet the minimum required.
- Students/youth must be under 18 years of age. Minimum age limit per river also applies. They must submit a signed Vector Wero Parental/Guardian Consent Form during check in. Schools/youth groups cannot substitute their own consent form. Students/youth without a signed form will not be allowed on the water.
- To ensure pastoral care of the youth attending the programme, all community groups must have a minimum of 2 adults accompany the group for each session booked, and remain on-site for the duration of the activity. At least one adult must be land based during the activity.
- Collective Hospitality is Vector Wero's exclusive caterers. Individuals and groups cannot bring meals or beverage into the park i.e. KFC, Domino's, Subway, McDonald's, etc.
- Business hours: Winter - Wednesdays to Sundays from 9am to 4pm. Summer - 7 days from 9am to 5pm
